About Us ...
ez newsletter LLC (DBA ez.newsletter) began in 2002 and officially incorporated in 2003. At that time, many people thought only of spam, a nuisance, when they thought of email marketing. But we saw the potential for subscription-based e-newsletters to become a key component of every company’s marketing strategy.
Our product, ez.newsletter, was written in 2001 using the SaaS (Software as a service) model, which at that time was virtually unheard of. Most companies still created shrink-wrapped CD-ROMs that they shipped to commercial clients whose IT departments would then install, configure, and maintain the software. Of course, many companies that could have benefitted from email marketing back then didn't have IT departments, so there was a significant gap between the application and potential users. We quickly bridged the gap with ez.newsletter.
We survived the "Dot-com bubble" because we combined our smart new business model and affordable, user-friendly software with hard work and know-how. Our talented team of developers, working closely with our customers, built solid features into ez.newsletter that are not just really cool, but functional and sound, and, in many cases, unique to our software. This, in turn, has helped our clients to grow their businesses.
Today, email marketing is estimated to be an over $500 million industry, and SaaS is a popular software model. The number of email marketing software providers continues to grow daily as new companies jump on the bandwagon. But we have always been ahead of the curve, and we have the vision and foresight to keep on producing the best email marketing application while continually growing and innovating.
