More about the Email Management Tool
You can use the Email Management tool to add individual contacts to the ez.newsletter system in a number of ways, and then you can sort, filter, edit, unsubscribe, or delete those contacts as you see fit. You can also export a contact or group of contacts to your computer with this tool. It works closely with the List Management tool, but it cooperates readily with the other ez.newsletter tools, as well.
To begin, you can enter contacts by hand or import a contact or group of contacts from a file stored on your computer. Or, build a survey in Webform Management and use it in a newsletter or on your website, then sit back and have new contacts automatically added to the system for you. Either way, once a contact is in the system, you can use this tool to add contacts to one or many of the email contact lists that will be stored and managed in List Management.
You can edit, unsubscribe, or delete contacts by hand in Email Management, too.
If your list of contacts grows and begins to seem unwieldy, never fear. You can sort contacts by first name, last name, email address, company name, the date they were added, street, city, state, zip code, country, or phone number. What's more, you can filter contacts by the same categories. The filtering process makes it simple to create lists of people with similar demographic information for special promotions, such as sending a location-specific coupon to all the customers with a 501 area code.
If you would like to save any of the contacts in the system to your computer, that's easy, too. The export option allows you to save one contact or a whole group of contacts to your computer in a few simple steps. And don't worry, exported contacts will stay in the system unless you delete them.
